User lists management

Beyond the basic features of the Isogeo search engine, the plugin aims to offer advanced and unique features. These features need to be funded by clients or investors or Isogeo itself before to be developed.

Idea

To avoid repetitive actions adding data from the search results table, user could manage its own data lists and get batch actions.

How should it work? (open to discussion)

• he/she adds each data to 0-n list/s through different ways (to be defined):
  • from the results table with a right click
  • from the dropdown list in the "Add" column in the results table
  • from the detailed metadata sheet
• the user can manage (create/edit/delete) his/her lists of data in a dedicated tab
• features in this dedicated tab:
  • button to create a new list
  • button to refresh the list
  • button to delete the list
  • combobox to pick a list. when picking a list, a table displays data with 4 columns: title, last update of data, geometry kind, status and a button to remove from the list. Status of data is to check if it's still shared to the application since it has been added to the list.
  • export/import a list (to exchange with colleagues)
• batch actions:
  • add all data in the list to the map canvas respecting the priority order: table -> local file -> service
