Summary

• Bump Firebase JS + iOS SDKs to 12.17.0 and Android BOM to 34.16.0 via scripts/update-firebase-sdk-versions.sh (docs, yarnrc age-gate preapprovals, lockfiles, Podfile.lock).
• Teach the bump script to preapprove transitive @firebase/* packages (fixes yarn quarantine on @firebase/component during JS upgrades).
• Document new compare-types drift for AI / Remote Config / App Check so CI stays green; follow-up parity tracked in Linear.

Test plan

• CI: install / prepare / Jest / compare:types / platform e2e
• Confirm pinned versions in packages/app/package.json match release notes (JS/iOS 12.17.0, BOM 34.16.0)
• Spot-check docs classpath/BOM snippets in docs/index.mdx

Isn't this a breaking change since it requires ios 16.3 after version 12.15.0?

Firebase now requires Swift tools version 6.1 for the Swift Package. The package will no longer resolve in Xcode versions older than 16.3. Note that the minimum officially supported version for the SDK remains Xcode 26.2+.

I think, and hope, that since the break was for an Xcode that's no longer officially supported that it's not a break here - we're certainly not trying to unintentionally break people - we have enough breaking change going on after all 😅

Additionally I don't think anyone truly adopted RNFB v26.0.0 before we followed it quickly with 26.1.0 so even if we accidentally did something wrong there hopefully the affected population is effectively zero
