Slice goal
In PublishingShell, edit the open site's default document and save. After refresh the workspace shows the saved default document.
One vertical increment in PublishingShell (site workspace editor): UI, Vitest, surface-filtered Playwright, and product-docs. Use the existing site update contract (site PUT). Do not add a new REST resource.
Out of scope
- Protocol (slice 52) and default file extension (slice 54)
- Site rename, copy, delete, description, and base URL
- Full or incremental publish
