I spent most of my time today trying to fix a newly exposed problem though. Now, the subwindow focusing is buggy, in a way that they have like two focus areas: one is the correct one within the subwindow and the other is the parent window's local coordinates. Check this screenshot:

Observe that my cursor is hovering in parent window but it actually is focusing the exact local coordinates of the subwindow. It's a bug that we'll need to fix and it's not related to the positioning of windows only, so we may want to close this issue here.
