We don't pull down changes for this workflow. It's outdated. Align with the upstream version - it's simpler, faster and more reliable.

if not pinning it will cause some new item on a security vuln issue list somewhere that we have to justify every 2 weeks, then yes lets pin it, if not pinning it won't waste our time, then no imo its fine
