Here are some fixes to make it build with GCC/Clang on C++11 and another change I needed to get it to properly close down. Also, a very simple SDL example how to use the library. Can you possibly clarify the licensing of your code? Given that it's based on the code from the Linux kernel driver, it should probably be GPLv2, but getting the license clarified from the author (you) as source code comment block headers in
src/ps3eye.{cpp,h}would be great, and allow reuse in other projects.
