"Template" Serializer Documentation Missing

The Telegraf documentation on the InfluxData website does not reference the "Template" data output format option, however, the GitHub documentation does. This led to me questioning whether data output formation was still a supported option. It would be helpful if the website documentation matched what is on the official GitHub repo.
