How to execute an EXPORT call?

Hello - I tried some sample code to execute an EXPORT of data from a table into a CSV and got errors. I looked into the docs for the ibm_Db package and looks like Execute() is only for DMLS and Query() is not working for EXPORT.

Is there any existing support for me to invoke EXPORT please?

Here are some commands I ran to verify the issue at hand - this works from CLP

$ db2 "export to test.csv of DEL select * from sysibmadm.mon_current_sql"

SQL3132W  The character data in column "STMT_TEXT" will be truncated to size 
"32700".

SQL3104N  The Export utility is beginning to export data to file "test.csv".

SQL3105N  The Export utility has finished exporting "1" rows.


Number of rows exported: 1

Nw trying it using the go_ibm_db package

Now tried the code with Exec which as documented should no work (and it did not)

@ram-ibm Export call is not supported.

@ram-ibm These import and export commands works only using CLP and not using ODBC or JDBC driver. Hence, can not work using open source drivers too as open source drivers are using ODBC driver. Thanks.

Appreciate the detailed explanation- I went with a simple query to extract the data and write it out to a CSV myself.
