switch activation list icon for summary view

right now, we use an icon that implies that the user will see some sort of conventional histogram/timeline/bar chart. here, shown in the lower left

i suggest we switch to the fontawesome th-list, as the summary view is more tabular.

also, we are now using the chart fontawesome for #884
