BlogStar is a web application where you can create and read longform text posts. There's lots of different ways to find posts: search by keyword, check out what's popular, and save your favorites! You can also engage with other bloggers by browsing their profiles and commenting on their posts.
This site was created as a term project for COSC 360 - Web Programming. We have learned a great deal in the process, and are very proud of what we have built. We achieved a total grade of 99% for this project across its four milestones.

🔗 Live site (Will work while the site is still hosted on UBC's servers, probably until 2026)
- Front-end: Pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Back-end: LAMP Stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).
No front-end or back-end frameworks were used for this project (as per course instructions). Because of this, we organized it with our own implementation of the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern. For more details on the system design, including routing, services and scripting, see m4-system-description.md.
