Problem

README: live DeckLink/AJA frames reaching the core is In progress. Completion plan item 2: pollVideoFrames() returns empty / metadata-only.

FOCUS_PLAN still says DeckLink/AJA is OUT for beta. Keep it Later unless the owner promotes it.

Done when

  • A connected card selected as capture:<id> delivers populated frames + embedded audio onto the F1 bus.
  • Hot-unplug is loud and safe.
  • Stub/CI stays green without vendor SDKs.

Depends on F1.

    Architecture review at 6f4f025 (2026-09-24): this is the one architecture finding that was already a proper issue (probe-healthy without pixels). #617 (capabilities from constructed adapters) must not advertise DeckLink/AJA until this has frames on the bus.
