ISOs armed with Engine (Zoom capture) off write nothing and give no warning #470
Description
Seen live on 2026-09-10. Recording started with IsoRecordingEnabled and 7 Zoom guests selected, while Engine (Zoom capture) was off. Program recorded normally. All 7 ISO streams sat at framesWritten: 0 with no file created, recording.warning: null, and no per-stream warning. Turning Engine on mid-recording made the ISO writers open and write, lazily at the first frame, so the operator silently lost the head of every ISO.
Contract it breaks: ISO-1 "Loud, never silent" (a video-only-broken ISO must be as loud as #286).
Fix direction:
- Either warn at record start when ISOs are selected and capture is off ("ISO sources have no video: Engine is off"),
- or have a per-stream warning that goes live when a selected source has produced no frame for N seconds while recording.
