step 1: install rust! step 2: clone this repo

cargo build

NOTE: I had to install the following packages:

• gcc
• pkg-config
• libasound2-dev

cargo run to run the recording app

• Hold the R key to record
• Press Escape or Q to exit cargo run -- [file] to run the playback
