PR description

This PR increases the maximum heap size for the Gradle build. By default it's set to 512 megabytes but it doesn't seem enough to run the build process from IntelliJ.
Without this proposed property I could see this message in the Build console:

Expiring Daemon because JVM heap space is exhausted
Daemon will be stopped at the end of the build after running out of JVM memory
Expiring Daemon because JVM heap space is exhausted
Expiring Daemon because JVM heap space is exhausted
Expiring Daemon because JVM heap space is exhausted
Daemon is stopping immediately JVM garbage collector thrashing and after running out of JVM memory

Documentation

  • I thought about documentation and added the doc-change-required label to this PR if
    updates are required.
