Backup explorer is painfully slow

I used tool to backup save files of a game.
Not very frequent or huge, but I've got around 7000 files in backup folder.
When I try to open version history for a file with 680 versions - loading is noticeable but acceptable.
File with 2700 versions - really slow, but at least I can still wait till it loads.
Viewing whole backup folder is nearly impossible - I gave up after 5+ minutes.
