[HANDS-ON BUG] Unit 2: Requirements

Dear team,

I've found an error while trying to install Unit 2 Hands-on requirements. The error occurs while trying to build a wheel for pickle5 during requirements installation. Please, find attached a screenshot:

As additional info, I've been running it in google colab.

Hi Gines, thanks for flagging this error!

I had this error too. pickle5 was a version of pickle supported up to Python 3.7, so that's likely the source of the error. A workaround that worked for me was to not install pickle.

A fix that worked for me:

1. replace the line import pickle5 as pickle with just import pickle, and
2. remove pickle5 from the dependencies: follow these steps:

• create a new file requirements.txt

  

• copy into that the contents of the requirements-unit2.txt file

• remove the line for pickle5

3. change the pip install -r ... line to pip install -r $(echo requirements.txt)
