Ping on cisco xe devices only output one ping and no ping ms info

Type escape sequence to abort.
Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 23.133.168.1, timeout is 2 seconds:

Having the same issue with multiple Cisco IOS devices. Ping and Traceroute commands are affected. When each command pauses, waiting for the next ping respond or hop, the output truncates at that point every time.
