@rsnodgrass do you want me to run all changes I make by you or do you care if I just merge branches when I'm ready to? I know you're not actively developing but I don't want to step on toes either!

I guess part of my question is, what rules would you like me to abide by? Features, ruff/formatting decisions, etc
