Breaking change

Proposed change

I've been semi-cautious about the scan interval because i didn't want to over-poll and cause issues for older devices.

I last reduced this value by 10s several releases ago, iirc. If this causes an issue, in the next release, we may be able to adapt the scan interval based on device or implement a backoff of sorts.

Type of change

  • Dependency upgrade
  • Bugfix (non-breaking change which fixes an issue)
  • New integration (thank you!)
  • New feature (which adds functionality to an existing integration)
  • Breaking change (fix/feature causing existing functionality to break)
  • Code quality improvements to existing code or addition of tests
