Ik looks like an invalid payload is received, could you give some more information on when this happens ans supply debug logging on Core and MQTT for the event? If we can reproduce it with debug logging we might be able to fix your issue.

I have this also, last thing i did I've updated zigbee2mqtt to version 1.29.0 commit: dddce57

Not 100% but I believe is something that happen in this release, and ha needs update

yes. I found problem. Problem is related with zigbee2mqtt. Last time we can see with MQTT notification that zigbee device isnt up to date and is avialable firmware update. And we can update device fw from HA intefrace. And i think that problem is here. Below example some device state:

This seems a payload for the update or light platform, not cover. Further we need the config payload and topic info . Seems not an MQTT issue to me.

We can see, that:

• no lastest_version state
• state installed_version is unknow

I have two this AQARA cover devices and both state as above
