Hi, I am using CopyQ (copyq/jammy,now 6.0.1-1 amd64) on Linux Mint, for more than 2 years and I am very happy with it. Great work there. I had an issue where I accidentally deleted all items from the tab, using one tab. I have previous backup of copyq_tab_JmNsaXBib2FyZA==.dat file (cca 60MB). Is there any way of restoring data from dat file, or should I have backed up some other files for this purpose? Many thanks. |

Hi, I have figured out what the problem was, as I have successfully restored data to CopyQ. I was "playing around" with "Synchronize" option earlier, and set to sync tab to certain folder. Afterwards, as I was unhappy with number of files generated on disk, I cleared the path for the &clipboard tab (see the screenshot). This caused the tab not to save data at all, although I thought this was only for sync purpose. |

I have cleared the tab name on Synchronize settings page. Now, when I copy the backup dat file to copyq config folder and start CopyQ, I can see my items.
