Version 1.6
Changes
- Add PD resistor on SPI SCK as a permanent workaround for ill behaving SPI handling of Marlin
- Silkscreen: Orientation marker on some additional connectors
- Fixed some BOM issues
Known issues:
- None
Version 1.5
Changes
- Copper pour fixed: VCC connection on USB isolation chip
- Silkscreen: Orientation marker on connectors
Known issues:
- None
Version 1.4
Changes
- Changed default solder mask clearance from 0.2 to 0.05
- SD card detect of onboard SD card reader is now connected to GND
- Changed 3.3V LDO to a LDO with better short circuit protection
Known issues:
- None
Version 1.3
Changes
(Since 1.1)
- Onboard micro SD card reader
- One sided component placement
- Better ground design
- Better noise isolation for switching power supply and crystal
- SMD based debug header for easier production
- Series resistor for the external SD Card reader on EXT-2
Breaking changes:
- The addition of the SD card reader need some changes in the firmware. The default reader will be the onboard reader.
- Removal of the "KILL PIN" and re-routing as RESET signal.
Moving forward the design is considered "finalized" and we won't produce any breaking changes for the V1 version.
Bugs fixed
- BTN_ENC1 and BTN_ENC2 were in wrong order
Known issues:
- None
Version 1.1
Changes:
- Changed fan tachometer RC filter and PU resistor to 4.7k for better filtering of high frequency noise
- Added Schmitt Trigger to aid STM32F7 reading the tachometer input signal
- Raised PU signal from 3.3V to 5V for increasing signal margin
- Minor silkscreen changes
Bugs fixed:
- Faulty reading of fan tachometer input
Known issues:
- None known
Version 1.0
Changes:
- New placement and routing of the PCB by using two sided placement of some components
- Better, less noisy design of the DC-DC switching converter (5V)
- Support for both TPS54308 and TPS54302 switching converter
- Changed mounting holes to 3.5mm
- Mounting holes not grounded anymore
- TMC2130 power traces are much wider with better routing
- Protection diodes for the TMC2130 (output and power-on protection)
- Added PU resistor for the TMC2130 enable pin (power-on protection)
- 24 Mhz crystal closer to MCU and length matched traces
- Some bypass capacitors are better placed
- EXT-3 header description added
- EXT-1 and EXT-2 now designed for unshielded design
- Reverse voltage protection for the SRAM backup battery (P-MOSFET)
- Added diodes for endstop and fan tachometer protection
Bugs fixed:
- Reversed SWD pins fixed
Known issues:
- None known
