It is a J2EE based web application using Struts2,Hibernate and Tiles Framework along with MySql database where user(civilian) can interact with police stations and easily lodge instant complaints,view crime news,etc.It also comprise of a criminal database ,easily accessible to the police officials. Different logins are designed for user/admin and police stations. Currently tested on dummy data (backup of which is provided), it is aimed to develop a full fledged common portal for civilians as well as police stations.
