Uncaught error in front end app

Description

Harmony app displayed the below stack trace

How to Reproduce

using Ubuntu 24

1. I cloned the repo from commit cc4407d
2. I edited it to point to localhost:8000 API and ran it with npm start
3. I harmonised the English + French GAD 7s after trying a few more examples and this crash happened

Expected Behavior

I think front end should tolerate missing question numbers

It does support missing question numbers.
This error relates to a matchunit being constructed that has only one question specified (Q2 is a prop of the matchunit component) So the most likely thing is that somehow when constructing the pairing up for the components we have ended up with a single unmached variable - can can catch this an just skip over some items?

Can you manage to produce a reproducible set to elicit this behaviour? It's clearly an unexpected state for the front end to find it's data in, essentially the transformed api data must by ending up finding a relationship from the matches matrix that relates to a question it has no information about.

I'm not seeing these errors when matching the GAD-7 english and French from the existing instruments on the master branch?

It strikes me as most likely to be due to some stale state from HarmonyStashed storage which is not represented in the api response and so cannot be displayed somehow ending up in the computed matches when a particular sequence of user actions takes place.
But until I can find a way to actually generate the mismatch I can't readily see a way to fix it - the error is ultimately harmless, the stale data it not displayed in the results as it does not exist in the question definitions

From the looks of what you posted here this is just the existing Gad7 English vs French?

You can see there is no problem with displaying questions with no number from the fact that the numberless question in English Gad7
If you checked any problems, how difficult have they made it for you to do your work, take care of things at home, or get along with other people?

Right it does seem to be related to stale state - The key action is to run a match then flip back to the definition and remove an instrument before running again - the computed matches are not recalculated under such circumstances
