Info on socks to ss

Hi  So i try your project but i'm not quite sure how the section : socks5 --> shadowsocks , do work. Was it we put a socks5 ip or like we open 1 session and connect to a socks5, then open another session to the vps and then do the command : shadowproxy -v socks://:8527/?via=ss://aes-256-cfb:passw@127.0.0.1:8388    ?
