Feature: --self-upgrade

Many of the self contained programs I use regularly (eg mysql-tuner, restic, cpanm, etc) have a --self-upgrade option that checks github for the most recent release and will upgrade in place.  I know xpanes is fairly feature complete but it would be a nicety either way.
