Describe the bug
With Pokémon Stadium 2 as the N64 game and Pokémon Crystal in the Transfer Pak, after saving data to Crystal e.g. when I change room decorations or move items around, and I open up Pokémon Crystal in a GBC emulator, the time ends up being wrong. Other data is saved properly, only the time is wrong.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Upon opening Gopher64, first toggle "Transfer Pak" for one of the controllers off and then on, in order to re-select the Pokémon Crystal ROM and save. (It seems Gopher loses this information after being closed, and only remembers it while it's still open.)
- Then, open the Pokémon Stadium 2 ROM.
- Within Pokémon Stadium 2, go to "My Room". First of all, you'll see that the time of day is wrong, e.g. when it's supposed to be nighttime it's instead early morning or daytime.
- Change room decorations within "My Room", and then say "Yes" to save the changes to Crystal.
- Close Gopher64, and open Crystal in an emulator like mGBA. The time will be wrong, with e.g. PM switched to AM, and the day being shifted back e.g. from Wednesday to Tuesday or Monday.
Expected behavior
I expected to see the actual current time in Crystal. The rest of the save data, e.g. room decorations and Pokémon party, are safe, so for some reason only the time is wrong.
Device (please complete the following information):
- OS: macOS Tahoe 26.5.2
- CPU: Apple M1, 8-core CPU
