Excessive number of pre-releases ♾️

I'm just posting it to make sure some Googler will notice that something is wrong with pre-releases: https://github.com/googleapis/gax-nodejs/releases.

It actually stopped on Monday, after beta.109 😄

That was a failure of the pre-release script. @bcoe this is amazing right? :)

Unpublishing versions from NPM is an extreme thing, so I'm not sure what's the right way to go here. @bcoe maybe it's not too late to delete the extra ones if we do it now? (I think the time limit is 3 days and we should be fine here?)

I will write a quick script to remove releases from GitHub. Should be faster than clicking through all the hundred :) Thank you for noticing this @merlinnot!

I removed those releases from GitHub (but not from NPM since it was too late and they did not allow that :) )
