Creating a new line/zone in Occupancy Analytics

While developing an application in the Studio in application development cloud platform, I encountered an issue where I am unable to create a new line or zone. When accessing the Active Zone and Line Editor page, no items appear with no items to display message, despite having a successfully deployed stream with a working Occupancy Analytics model in place.

Thanks for trying Vertex AI Vision! Did you try loading the Active Zone and Line Editor page while you are actively ingesting data to the stream? If the stream is not active, the page cannot show an image preview to draw the line and zones.

Here are some ways to verify the stream ingestion is active:

1. If you use vaictl to ingest to the stream, please make sure the vaictl command is still running.
2. Use the Streams Tab in Vertex AI Vision to view the live video contents (https://cloud.google.com/vision-ai/docs/create-manage-streams#play-videos). If there are video contents showing up in this page, that means the stream ingestion is active.

If you have verified the stream ingestion is active, but still are not able to load the Active Zone and Line Editor page, please leave a comment about the exact time of your attempt, and then we can further troubleshoot. Thanks!

the stream is active and working fine.
just cant use dwell time and manage line and zones.

Hi, do you remember when you tried the line/zones editor? From the backend logs, we observed the stream ingestion is active 10:20 am PST - 11:20 am PST. However, there are requests to load the stream's image to edit line/zone after 11:20 am PST, and those requests failed because the stream is no longer active. We suspect that you may have opened the line/zone editor after the stream ingestion has ended.
