New version release request

Hello, I see that the last tag has been built in Aug 31, 2023, which is over a year ago which makes the lib look abandoned.

The repository seems to be active with multiple pr merges over the last year, it is just missing a new version.

Can someone explain what is necessary here? and what can I do to help with it.

Hi, thanks for the reminder. I can cut a release shortly. Since there's new functionality in #367, we'll probably need to issue 0.7.0 instead of 0.6.1.
