Describe the bug
When the submit button on a form is clicked, the fields that fail validation, e.g required field, are not highlighted in red and the error text is also not displayed.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior on the SDC Demo app:

1. Go to FHIR Engine sample app
2. Click on Register new patient
3. Without entering any data click on submit button
4. The required fields are not highlighted in red and error messages are not shown

Expected behavior
The required fields should be highlighted in red and error messaged shown when the submit button is clicked
