What did you expect to happen?

This is not helpful:

To check your daily usage limit and current consumption in the Gemini CLI, you can use the built-in stats command:

1. Use the /stats model command: While in an interactive session, type /stats model. This command provides a snapshot of your current session's
   token usage and detailed information about the limits associated with your current quota.
2. Session Exit Summary: A summary of your model usage is automatically presented when you exit a Gemini CLI session.
3. Upgrade Command: You can use the /upgrade command (when logged in with a Google account) to open the upgrade page in your browser, where you
   can view your current tier and available plans with higher limits.

Typical Daily Limits by Authentication Method:
Your daily request limit depends on how you are authenticated:

• Google Account (Gemini Code Assist Individual): 1,000 requests/day.
• Google AI Pro: 1,500 requests/day.
• Google AI Ultra: 2,000 requests/day.
• Gemini API Key (Free Tier): 250 requests/day (limited to Flash models).
• Google Workspace (Enterprise): 2,000 requests/day.

For the most up-to-date and specific information regarding your account, always rely on the /stats model command output.

They recently moved the quota view to the /model command

It looks like the little model usage bar was removed from stats in this PR #24206 but I am not sure which command is used to see it now. It was definitely helpful to keep track of my pro model usage!

The plain /model command is showing these usage bars now, but it cannot be checked in real time unlike /stats because of the error "Slash commands cannot be queued" for /model while Gemini is working.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It appears the usage statistics were moved to the /model command in a previous update, but we understand that this makes it harder to monitor your quota in real-time during a session. We would welcome a pull request to restore the usage bar and limit information to the /stats command.

I'd like to work on this. The quota display was moved to /model in PR #24206, but users need it in /stats too for real-time monitoring. I'll reuse the existing ModelQuotaDisplay component to render the daily quota bars directly in the /stats output.
