In my case auth does not work ether. I run
geminifrom cli, then try to make Google Auth in Chrome and Chrome redirects to this page. Before the update to the latest version (0.15) I was usinggeminiwithout any problems and auth flow was working correctly.liucf1224-del commentedon Nov 17, 2025

Do you have any of the following environment variables set:
GOOGLE_CLOUD_PROJECT,GOOGLE_CLOUD_PROJECT_ID,GOOGLE_CLOUD_LOCATION? If so, I believe we will assume you are trying to log in with this GCP project/location and you will get hit with this error if you don't have the right permissions.79 remaining items

just got this error when my account was working literally last night. whe the hell is this?? so many users have been complaining about this error for MONTHS and they haven't fixed it yet!

I think they deliberately created this problem to reduce the load on their servers. And do we even need to fix it? Opus is head and shoulders better, and GLM is almost the same but free. I suggest closing the issue.

This bug blocks free tier users with an incorrect enterprise entitlement error. The reported CLI version 0.15.3 is old and needs retesting.
