GD2 pods should shutdown cleanly when requested

When requested, GD2 pods should perform a clean shutdown. All mounted filesystems should be unmounted, and any loopback devices setup must be detached. This is required to allow safe upgrades in the future, as two pods cannot safely share lvm devices or loopback devices.
