Hi @canthefason Thanks for helping debug and opening a PR with a PoC fix - I've taken what you've done and extended it to continue sending the metadata, but only once per socket (as per the spec). I'm going to close this as #105 should fix the issue. Thanks for the help - it's really appreciated! |

This PR is only opened to point out how the problem mentioned in #101 and #103 can be mitigated. This doesn't suggest an actual solution to the problem, where we keep sending the metadata for the first sync request.
