"Search in multiple nodes" instead opens "Replace in multiple nodes" #2468
Comments
What kind of package are you using? Deb from giuspen PPA / snap / flatpak / appimage? |
Could you export and share your config.cfg? File--Preferences--Export |
Also please download the AppImage for 1.0.4 and report how that behaves |
Can you try AppImage v1.1.0 too please? |
May it be that it starts to behave in this weird way not from the moment you start cherrytree but only after some time that you are using it? |
Works fine with AppImage 1.1.0
Yes, youre right, restarted my ppa cherrytree and for the moment it works. I wonder when it starts misbeheaving. |
Thanks @smeszner-etes it starts to make sense now, I'll investigate and get back |
I can confirm this bug in the 1.1.0 Test build AppImage. I can reproduce it like this: Edit: Also "Search in current node" has the same problem. It also shows the replace dialog for me. |
This should be now fixed. If you could try the test build from https://www.giuspen.net/cherrytree/#testing (called 1.1.0+10) and report if that works as expected or still has issues it would be very useful. The plan is to release v1.1.1 tomorrow the 27th |
Fixed in v1.1.1 |
Version, Operative system
1.1.0, Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Describe the bug
Its not possible to open the dialog to search in multipe nodes. It instead opens the dialog to replace in multiple nodes.
Keyboard Shortcuts also doesnt work. Because of this bug, I lost information in all my notes.
