Show API errors in toast

At the moment, if we have an error when requesting something from the API, for example when searching, this is not handled in any way and the error is not shown. There is a suggestion to show an error in toast. Or does anyone have any other thoughts on this matter?

I think that would be good. The more feedback users have, the better.

Think this would be great to have. We can begin with thinking implementing error messages using toasts and then moving on to other types of notifications if we see fit (show a toast if request successful for example?)

Would be great if we can use a higher order component or something similar to simply have this toast in every screen if an error is triggered 🤔 Don't know if this would be easy however given our error messages are in each part of state specifically for different requests.
