It generates the wrong feature name. [ `specify-scripts-bash`]

when we give some tasks it generates a feature branch with random names like specify-scripts-bash

I just installed spec kit in a new repo and while running the /speckit.specify command the AI agent just tried to run this command:

bash -lc ".specify/scripts/bash/create-new-feature.sh --json \"llm prompt and output improvements\" --short-name \"llm-prompt-output\""

That doesn't look like JSON to me, and I got this error upon running the script that I see in my agent window:

Error: --short-name requires a value

I think I can continue with development but the side effect is that it looks like it just creates a kind of random branch and feature name, e.g.: 001-users-benjaminedgar-workspace is what it created for me

@ben-edgar you are running in a wrong way, you should either pass --short-name or --json. try running

.specify/scripts/bash/create-new-feature.sh --short-name llm-prompt-output "llm prompt and output improvements"

i mean command --short-name <branch name> <description>

Some additional info regarding --short-name fails:

Part of the problem is the instructions here: https://github.com/github/spec-kit/blob/main/templates/commands/specify.md

I have modified the instructions to get claude-code + sonnet 4.5 to get it right in one shot:

   - Insert the short-name argument in the `.specify/scripts/bash/create-new-feature.sh --json "$ARGUMENTS"` command with the 2-4 word short name you created in step 1 BEFORE the "$ARGUMENTS".
   - Bash: `.specify/scripts/bash/create-new-feature.sh --json --short-name "your-generated-short-name" "$ARGUMENTS"`
   - PowerShell: `.specify/scripts/bash/create-new-feature.sh --json -ShortName "your-generated-short-name" "$ARGUMENTS"`
   - IMPORTANT: You CAN NOT put arguments after "$ARGUMENTS".
   - Run scripts WITHOUT ANY arguments to see syntax - `--help` will have some scripts do unexpected things like create a branch anyway.

Yes @dldinternet I think that's the exact issue! I got this after running the /speckit.specify command. Updated my comment above to clarify when this issue came up.
