Describe the need

When running ghce or ghcs inside emacs shell(I tried ansi-term, shell and eshell), the emacs seems chocked with the generated escape characters:

$ ghcs emacs                                                                                                                                                                                       
^[]11;?^[\                                                                                                                                                                                         
^[]11;?^[\^[]11;?^[\^[]11;?^[\
