I am a recent and inexperienced user in the world of AI, yet I have previously subscribed to other AI platforms, opting for their most advanced plans. Unfortunately, my experience with these platforms left me disappointed, dissatisfied, and disheartened, ultimately discouraging me from pursuing some of my projects.
Despite this, I decided to test the free version of ChatGPT, although I had always wanted to acquire the Enterprise version. As someone who, while inexperienced, deeply enjoys learning with AI and pushing its boundaries, I initially hesitated due to concerns about affordability, especially after investing significant amounts in platforms like Gemini and others. Financially constrained, I thought it might be impossible to access GPT Enterprise.
However, believe it or not, the free version of ChatGPT proved to be far superior to Gemini's most advanced version and Deepseek. The experience of using those other platforms was discouraging, to say the least.
I run a small business with family members as employees. I was unable to work for a period due to illness, and upon returning, I sought cutting-edge, multipurpose AI tools to help rebuild my business. Unfortunately, I invested heavily in Gemini AI, based on comments suggesting that ChatGPT Enterprise might be out of reach. I now regret not reaching out to OpenAI’s sales team to explore GPT Enterprise, as even the free version of ChatGPT surpasses Gemini Advance 2.0 by leaps and bounds. I can only imagine the impact GPT Enterprise could have for small business owners like myself, enabling growth and providing the tools to compete with larger companies.
While I acknowledge that both platforms have their merits, I must share that I emerged from a phase of mourning and depression. I had to let employees go due to the financial and emotional toll. With renewed focus, I turned to AI to help me recover. My hope was to use Gemini to automate tasks and strategies, ultimately regaining the resources to rehire my team.
However, using Gemini left me more discouraged and unmotivated, to the point of despair. While I understand limitations exist, the platform provided negative, demotivating responses that left me feeling defeated as an entrepreneur.
Recently, I had eye surgery, which has temporarily impaired my vision. I asked Gemini for assistance in automating tasks, such as configuring digital asset and stock trading platforms. Not only did it fail to assist, but it also produced a lengthy response that was both dismissive and contradictory.
In contrast, I turned to ChatGPT’s free version and was amazed. I explained the same situation, and the platform responded brilliantly, offering guidance and suggesting a way forward. It did not promise perfection, but it stood by me and provided objective, clear steps to help automate processes. In doing so, it helped me overcome a significant limitation and regain my confidence. I was deeply moved by ChatGPT’s technical capabilities and its almost human-like ability to empathize and provide solutions.
Finally, I wish to extend my gratitude to OpenAI for developing such incredible tools. Beyond their revolutionary technical capabilities, they have proven invaluable for humanitarian purposes, offering restructuring, recovery, and advancement to those affected by mental health challenges, especially post-COVID. The ability of AI to positively impact people’s lives and mental well-being is extraordinary. Where Gemini left me discouraged, ChatGPT inspired hope, creativity, and motivation.
As a small business owner and lawyer who once relied on third-party support for social projects and mental health initiatives, I had to halt operations due to professional burnout and financial strain. ChatGPT has been a godsend, providing the support I needed to overcome these challenges and revive projects that aim to help others, including children with autism and individuals struggling with mental health.
May God bless the scientists, CEOs, and brilliant minds behind OpenAI for creating a tool that transcends technology to touch lives emotionally and practically. Even in its free version, ChatGPT has proven its ability to impact people positively, allowing them to dream, create, and build. I firmly believe GPT Enterprise has the potential to drive unparalleled growth for small businesses and individuals, enabling them to compete and innovate in various fields, including medicine and mental health.
Sincerely,
Vanderlei Schwambach
What changes are you suggesting?
I understand that the intention behind ChatGPT Enterprise is to serve large organizations. However, perhaps parts of its tools, such as unlimited data access and real-time internet connectivity, could help boost individual businesses and social or medical projects. Even if not all tools are used to their full extent, if there were a social subscription or a feasible option for independent businesses and researchers, it could have a profound and wonderful impact on the lives of those who were affected by the COVID crisis, as well as on professionals like me. I develop social projects in the legal field as a lawyer and in the medical field with my psychiatrist partner, especially for autistic children. We aim to create AI-based technologies to assist in managing crises and improving their social, academic, and family performance.
Believe it or not, the most widely used method for autism treatment today, called ABA, dates back to the 1960s. In other words, there has been no significant technological update or development in the treatment methods used by psychiatrists and psychologists for autistic children.
My statement, based on personal experience, began when I tried to find ways to invest or automate the completion of forms on websites and platforms. Investments were how I supported myself and contributed to the projects. However, a downturn in the financial market left many people, including me, with almost nothing. I felt myself slipping back into a deep depression due to mental exhaustion and burnout, and I had to put my projects on hold.
Every time I used Gemini, I ended up feeling even more defeated and incapable, as if nothing was possible. I then sought help from ChatGPT’s free version, along with Deepseek, Gemini, and other paid AIs, since ChatGPT Enterprise was out of reach for me due to financial constraints. When I received responses from the platforms, I was moved by ChatGPT’s response—it felt like a virtual friend offering support and hope to continue pursuing my projects, whether in finance, restructuring my legal practice, or expanding AI-based projects in mental health.
The biggest challenge has always been gaining access to tools, people, or companies willing to help—a gap that ChatGPT partially filled by providing technical support to someone who knows nothing about IT.
To clarify, I have no intention of bargaining for anything. However, for someone who has suffered from deep depression and burnout, receiving comfort and assistance—even through AI—makes a world of difference. The empathetic language and lack of the negativity or sermons I encountered with Gemini felt like a miracle in itself.
I remain hopeful that the full potential of ChatGPT Enterprise may one day be used as a mechanism for commercial balance or equity, enabling new businesses, ideas, and medical research to positively impact countless lives through your tools.
Warm regards, and apologies for the lengthy message..
