Esp32 PCNT defaults

I am wondering if the defaults for attachToPulseCounter low/high limit at -/+16,384 (Here are just for tests and can they be set in the user program to the max int16 range -32,768 to 32,767? (or any other value in that range)

i.e. myStepper->attachToPulseCounter( 0, -32768, 32767)
