Raven-js sends almost-useless stacks for some low-privilege Firefox add-on code #836

Do you want to request a feature or report a bug?

A bug.

What is the current behavior?

The "vendored" TraceKit returns a much-abbreviated (read: almost useless) trace for code that is served from "resource:" URLs, which are what is used some low-privilege parts of some Firefox add-ons.

High-level steps-to-reproduce are possible but somewhat painful. However, I'll have a unit test that fails on the current code and success with a fixed version in a PR that I'll open shortly.

What is the expected behavior?

Which versions of Raven.js, and which browser and OS are affected by this issue?

I'd expect all versions of Firefox on all OSes to be affected.

Did this work in previous versions of Raven.js?

Not as far as I know.

Are you using the CDN (http://ravenjs.com)?

No.

Are you using hosted Sentry or on-premises? If on-premises, which version (e.g. 8.7.0)?

On-premises, verison 8.10.0
