@martijn00 thanks for the suggestion. I've already got something a bit more opinionated implemented in ResponsiveScaffold/RootScaffoldShell that supports desktop, and I'm using that package for the breakpoints included in it. Refactoring it to use AdaptiveLayout would require a significant amount of work.

This issue is for adding a separate router stack for desktop since it doesnt always make sense for desktop to mirror the phone's navigation stack. Currently, its a bit difficult to determine if it is currently in desktop mode from the screen widgets.
