Chinese annotated guide for gstack (community contribution) #895

What

I created a Chinese annotated guide for gstack: shengbinxu/gstack-zh

This is not a translation — it's a bilingual (English + Chinese) deep annotation of gstack's design decisions, architecture, and skill templates. Each annotation quotes the original English, adds Chinese translation, and explains the design rationale ("why it's built this way").

Content

  • 5 architecture docs (browse daemon, design binary, template pipeline, skill system, overall architecture)
  • 38 skill annotations (one per skill, line-by-line bilingual coverage)
  • 29,000+ lines of bilingual content
  • Every annotation links back to the original source file in garrytan/gstack
  • GitHub Actions workflow that monitors upstream releases and opens sync reminder issues

Example: the /plan-eng-review annotation is 830 lines covering every section of the 317-line template — including all 15 cognitive patterns, the Step 0 scope challenge, STOP rules, and the worktree parallelization strategy.

Top annotations by depth: design-consultation (1,513 lines), review (1,380 lines), design-html (1,097 lines), plan-design-review (1,070 lines), plan-devex-review (1,013 lines).

Why

gstack has a growing Chinese developer audience. The skill templates embed deep engineering management knowledge (from Larson, Brooks, Google SRE, etc.) that benefits from contextual explanation, not just translation. This guide helps Chinese developers understand not just what gstack does, but why each design decision was made.

Request

Would you consider adding a link to this guide in the README? Something like:

## Community

- [Chinese Annotated Guide (中文注解)](https://github.com/shengbinxu/gstack-zh) — bilingual deep-dive into gstack's architecture and skill design

Happy to adjust the wording or placement. The guide stays in sync with upstream releases via automated monitoring.

Built with Claude Code + gstack (/office-hours for the design doc, then implementation).
