What would you like to be added:
Currently it is not possible to remove a zone from existing cluster
admission webhook "validation.aws.provider.extensions.gardener.cloud" denied the request: networks.zones: Forbidden: removing zones is not allowed
For convenience and improved user experience similar limitations should be properly documented under ./doc/usage-as-end-user.md.
Why is this needed:
Currently users deploy across multiple zones. When a given machine type is not available in given zone, they cannot remove the zone from the worker or from the infrastructureConfig.
