Use official-source macroeconomic indicators, economic release schedules and
FX reference rates in Dify agents and workflows. Four read-only tools retain
their established names: indicator_history, data_catalogue,
release_calendar and forex_rates.

Install the FXMacroData plugin from Dify Marketplace, or use Dify's Install from
Local Package option with the .difypkg distribution. Python 3.12 is required
by the plugin runtime. Public USD access works without a key within the free
limits. Add your FXMacroData API key in the provider's secret field for
subscribed access. Requests use X-API-Key over HTTPS; credentials are never
sent in URLs. No model, storage or endpoint permissions are requested.
Open Authorize and save with the key field empty for public USD use. Start
with data_catalogue, currency usd, then use a returned indicator slug in
indicator_history. For paged resources, the default page size is 20 and the
maximum is 100. Increase
offset while the response's pagination.has_more is true. Each invocation
returns one page and preserves the API response with a text summary. An empty result is not an
estimate. Data availability, units and access limits come from the service.
For FX use forex_rates and supply base and quote. This tool requires an
API key. The release calendar accepts an optional IANA timezone parameter.
Invalid credentials, access restrictions, unavailable resources, rate limits
and network timeouts produce explicit errors without exposing credentials.
This plugin reads data and does not place trades, change accounts or access equity quotes. Workflow operators remain responsible for licensing and any redistribution to other users.
