Connectors with with 4-Wires at node highlight but dont move together #3006
Comments
Thanks for the report! Can you add some details, like the following:
|
I believe it is only a visual issue. Clicking on one of the horizontal disconnected wire end-points and dragging it will make the vertical connections snap to it. I keep finagling with it, and sometimes all four wires would move with it, but I haven't figured out a consistent set of steps to duplicate that. They appear in breadboard and PCB modes as connected. I noticed that when I moved the parts in PCB mode that they re-snapped together in schematic at the mutual node. I am on Ubuntu Studio 14.04. |
It can still be reproduced in 0.9.4 (Windows) |
Video showing the issue from another bug report #2908: |
The issue applies to all the views. Add bug label, UI pcbview and bbview |
As the last YouTube video shows, this can also happen with three 3-wire bendpoints. |
It has been suggested at https://forum.fritzing.org/t/gluing-wires-to-each-other-in-schematic-view/15420/17?u=aclassifier that it may be the same error as the one reported here. By inspecting the above comments and movie, yes that may be correct. My file is available from that posting. |
I think this has been solved in 1.0.0 |
Connectors with with 4-Wires at node highlight but dont move together. The disconnected portion "blips" between one side or the other when I move the node about.
