Yesterday:

• Worked on new client launch behavior.

  • The login dialog now starts before starting the main window.

• Ran into a blocker after pulling in the latest changes from SecureDrop: now unable to run the client because docker networking isn't set up properly for me.

Today:

• Resolve blocking issue mentioned above.

• Plan out work for https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-workstation/issues/241#issuecomment-484223954 with Kushal.

• Continue work on login for the client.

  • Work on wiring up the application to exit when the login dialog closes before launching the main window.

• If there is time, work on adding offline behavior.

Blockers:

• I am blocked. I can't work on the client until I resolve the issue mentioned above.

Yesterday:

• Mostly non-SD backend triage

• Update SF instance to Xenial
• Coordination on 1U as needed
