Remove frame around numeric date

I am not convinced that the frame around the numeric date adds to readability. I suggest it be made optional.

There isn't a huge amount of demand for this, but it certainly could be an option.

There is two possibility:

• remove the frame with large text size and leave as it is with normal text size
• or add an option applied for the two size of text

Which is the best solution ?

I only use the large text option. I have no strong opinion on either of the two options.
