  1. Consistently use INSTALL_PATH in /install.sh 

    INSTALL_PATH and /var/lib are used alternatingly in the install script.

Replace all hard-coded occurrences of `/var/lib` with `${INSTALL_PATH}` (as appropriate and following the script style).
